JV: The boys jv team lost to Shenandoah friday night 51-34. The bears were down 14 at halftime but in the 3rd quarter the bears cut the lead to 5 but in the end Shenandoah made plays and capitalized on mc turnovers. The bears were led in scoring by Carter Wheatley and Justus Ullom with 8 apiece. Varsity: The boys varsity basketball team beat conference foe Shenandoah friday night 36-28. The bears got down early 8-2 then over the next quarter and half they went on a 17-1 run to lead at the half 19-9. In the 3rd quarter Shenandoah came out hit some easy baskets off of MC turnovers but the bears held on to the lead going into the 4th quarter. In the 4th quarter the bears never gave up the lead and hit some timely free throws to seal the win. The bears were led in scoring by Cole Munchel with 15 followed by Easton Foster with 8. The bears next game is friday night at conference rivial Eastern Hancock.
