Monroe Central

Varsity: The Monroe Central Lady Bears were defeated by the Wapahani Raiders 39-33. The Bears were lead by Kimber Abshear with 16 points and 10 rebounds, Sydney Patterson added 7 points and Audrey Keeley had 5 points to go along with 7 rebounds. The Lady Bears are now 9-9 on the season and will host Cowan on 1/19 to celebrate their annual breast cancer awareness night. Everyone is encouraged to wear pink to the game. JV: The JV girls returned to action on Wednesday with a hard fought loss at Wapahani 19-16. Gracie Baker led the Bears with 8 points, Riu and Aubrey Johnson added 3 each. Sophia Bolton added 2. Bears host Cowan tomorrow night.
