7th Grade: The Golden Bears were tested early playing from behind 0-8 in the first quarter. They fought back to within 2 by halftime trailing 22-24. The boys ran away with it in the second half defensively allowing 0 points in the 4th quarter. Coming away with the final season game win against Northeastern 42-34. Scoring in the victory was Leum Butler 16, Ryder Slaven 13, Knox Myers 7, Noah Mangus 4, and Elijah Keeley with 2. We are looking forward to our County tournament this Saturday at Randolph Southern. 8th Grade: The 8th grade Golden Bears got out to a fair start going into halftime up 17-12. The Bears came out with a lot of energy in the second half and played very hard. The team won the game 44-31. The team was led in scoring by Miles Gross with 17.
