Monroe Central which only fills 6 of 14 weights finishes 4th out of 9 teams. Just 8 pts out of 3rd, with 4 champions 3 winning their first MEC championship @145 Junior Zac Martin and @170 Sophomore Jerimiah Ullom while running his record to 19-0 and @195 Senior Kolten Tinsman. Senior Hunter Page runs his season record to 30-0 as he captured his 4th MEC championship. Finishing 3rd were @160 Junior Cade Goodrich and @220 Clay Smith. State tournament starts next weekend at the Delta Sectional that will also be where Hunter Page will become the All Time wins leader in program history as he will pass former Golden Bear grappler Logan Swallow achieving more than 142 wins.
