Monroe Central improved to 3-2 on the season with a convincing hole opening win 48-16 over Union City. The Bears were led in scoring by Jackson Konkle’s 14 points, Griffin Gannom added 12 points, Cohen West chipped in 6 points with Kyler Bogue, Julius Ullom, and Max Wagner adding 4 points each. Dylan Summers and Noah Keeley rounded out the scoring with 2 points each. Justice Davis was cited with improved defensive play and Julius Ullom had 11 rebounds. The Bears host Winchester on Wednesday.
