Duncan singled in the first inning, singled in the fourth inning, and singled in the seventh inning. Myles Oliphant struck out 10 batters on the day. The pitcher also allowed one hit and zero runs over five innings while walking two. Monroe Central Varsity Bears opened the scoring in the first after Caleb Luedike singled, scoring one run. A sacrifice fly by Duncan extended the Monroe Central Varsity Bears lead to 2-0 in the top of the second inning. Webb took the loss for Cambridge City Lincoln. The hurler went four innings, surrendering four runs (three earned) on five hits, striking out three and walking three. Logan Walker pitched two innings of scoreless ball for Monroe Central Varsity Bears in relief. The reliever surrendered one hit, striking out two and walking one.
