Logan Keith, Elijah Keeley, and Peyton Stacy combined for four of the team's eight hits in the victory. They scored one run and drove in one. Keith struck out 11 batters on the day. The righty also gave up six hits and one run over seven innings while walking three. Blue River Valley got on the board in the first inning after Wesson singled, scoring one run. Stacy singled down the left field line, which helped Monroe Central Junior High tie the game at one in the bottom of the second.
