Recap: Win over Blue River Valley 6-1 Logan Keith threw a complete game only allowing 4 hits with 11 strikeouts while also going 2/3 at the plate. Alex Middleton provided 3 RBIs on the day. Next game is Tuesday against Burris Game Changer Recap: Bottom Of The Lineup Carries Monroe Central Junior High Past Blue River Valley By GameChanger Media The bottom of the lineup helped Monroe Central Junior High capture a 6-1 victory over Blue River Valley on Thursday at Monroe Central Jr./Sr. High School. Logan Keith, Elijah Keeley, and Peyton Stacy combined for four of the team's eight hits in the victory. They scored one run and drove in one. Keith struck out 11 batters on the day. The righty also gave up six hits and one run over seven innings while walking three. Blue River Valley got on the board in the first inning after Wesson singled, scoring one run. Stacy singled down the left field line, which helped Monroe Central Junior High tie the game at one in the bottom of the second. A walk by Mason Gilliam gave Monroe Central Junior High the lead, 3-1, in the bottom of the third. Cale started on the bump for Blue River Valley. The starter surrendered seven hits and six runs over five innings, striking out 10 and walking four. Alex Middleton provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Monroe Central Junior High with three runs batted in. The shortstop went 1-for-2 on the day. Monroe Central Junior High's Keith, the number nine hitter, led Monroe Central Junior High with two hits in three at bats. Collin Baker stole two bases. Monroe Central Junior High were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Parker Morris had the most chances in the field with 10. Wesson went 2-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Wesson stole three bases. Blue River Valley were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error.
