GameChanger Recap: Monroe Central Junior Varsity Bears And Winchester JV Tie By GameChanger Media Monroe Central Junior Varsity Bears and Winchester JV tied 9-9 on Friday. Winchester JV got on the board in the top of the first inning after Bates walked, Ruhl walked, and Winchester JV scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run. Monroe Central Junior Varsity Bears captured the lead, 6-3, in the bottom of the second when Hunter Gard doubled, scoring two runs, a dropped third strike scored one run, and a steal of home scored one run. Monroe Central Junior Varsity Bears added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Corbin Taylor walked, and Monroe Central Junior Varsity Bears scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run. Winchester JV tied the game in the top of the seventh thanks to a triple by Addington, an error, and a single by Bates. Kyler Bogue stepped on the mound first for Monroe Central Junior Varsity Bears. The starter allowed two hits and three runs (two earned) over three innings, striking out six and walking four. Butler stepped on the bump first for Winchester JV. The pitcher allowed four hits and six runs (four earned) over two innings, striking out five and walking five.
