GameChanger Recap: Logan Walker Drives 4 Runners Home In Monroe Central Varsity Bears Victory Over Daleville By GameChanger Media Logan Walker drove in four runs on three hits to lead Monroe Central Varsity Bears past Daleville 15-0 on Thursday. Walker hit a home run to left field in the third scoring two, doubled in the second scoring one, and singled in the fourth scoring one. Monroe Central Varsity Bears got on the board in the first inning after an error scored two runs. Monroe Central Varsity Bears added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Caleb Luedike singled to center field, and Walker doubled to center field, each scoring one run. Monroe Central Varsity Bears scored five runs on four hits in the top of the third inning. Isaac Middleton hit a solo home run to center field, Luedike doubled, scoring one run, Lane Wilson doubled, scoring one run, and Walker homered to left field, scoring two runs. Monroe Central Varsity Bears scored five runs on five hits in the top of the fourth inning. Myles Oliphant singled, scoring one run, Luedike doubled, scoring two runs, Walker singled, scoring one run, and Middleton singled, scoring one run. Luedike earned the win for Monroe Central Varsity Bears. The starting pitcher surrendered three hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out three and walking one. Ayden Ramirez took the loss for Daleville. The starting pitcher went two and one-third innings, giving up five runs (three earned) on five hits, striking out four and walking two. Monroe Central Varsity Bears accumulated 15 hits in the game. Walker, Wilson, and Luedike each collected three hits for Monroe Central Varsity Bears. Oliphant and Middleton each collected multiple hits for Monroe Central Varsity Bears. Monroe Central Varsity Bears had patience at the plate, accumulating eight walks for the game. Carter Duncan and Levi Pence led the team with two walks each. Monroe Central Varsity Bears didn't commit a single error in the field. Pence had the most chances in the field with seven. Noah Colvin, Bryson Sigler, and Joshua Wilson each collected one hit for Daleville. Daleville turned one double play in the game.
