The Jr High Track teams ran at Blackford with Wes-Del and Jay Co competing as well. The Boys team defeated Blackford, falling to Jay and Wes-Del. The Girls team defeated Blackford and Wes-Del, losing to only Jay County. Top finishers were: Clay Oren 2nd in the 100 M Ashton Dance 2nd in the 2400 M Carson Brown 2nd in 110 Hurdles and 3rd in Shot Put 4x1 team of C Brown, Whitehead, Kidd, and Oren finished 3rd 4x4 team of Northcutt, Ponder, L Brown, and Dance finished 3rd Landry Taylor 3rd in 100 M and 1st in 400 M Mila Morris 2nd in 800 M and 3rd in High Jump Lillie Moery 3rd in 800 M, 2nd in 1600 M Ada Wagner 1st in 100 M Hurdles 4x4 team of Moery, Case, Wines, and Morris finished 3rd Mati McConnell 3rd in Long Jump and 3rd in Shot Put The teams run next on Wednesday at Driver Middle School, starting at 5:30.
