GameChanger Recap: Monroe Central Varsity Bears Falls To Hagerstown By GameChanger Media Monroe Central Varsity Bears lost to Hagerstown 8-3 on Friday. Hagerstown jumped out to the lead in the top of the second inning after Will King laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring one run, Kaden Hall hit a sacrifice fly, scoring two runs, and Graham Vinson singled, scoring one run. Kaagen Kendall earned the win for Hagerstown. The starting pitcher surrendered one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out three and walking one. Lane Wilson took the loss for Monroe Central Varsity Bears. The starting pitcher went four innings, surrendering eight runs (seven earned) on 11 hits, striking out one and walking none. Conner Baker, Kyler Bogue, Isaac Middleton, and Carter Duncan each collected one hit for Monroe Central Varsity Bears. Logan Walker, Duncan, and Wilson each drove in one run for Monroe Central Varsity Bears. Caleb Luedike led Monroe Central Varsity Bears with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting seven walks for the game. Monroe Central Varsity Bears were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Baker made the most plays with four. Hagerstown collected 12 hits in the game. Aiden Grover led Hagerstown with two runs batted in from the number seven spot in the lineup.
