Your Bears Golf team hosted the Monroe Central Invitational to open their season Saturday. After a rain delay, the Bears were able to tee off and compete. The Bears battled the wind and rain to finish with an impressive 328 team score. The Bears finished 1st overall as a team to bring home the Monroe Central Invite Trophy. The Bears were led by Cohen West. West shot a 1-over round of 71 (2 bogeys and a birdie). Cooper Huston finished with an 82. Senior Easton Foster shot a 84. Rounding out the scores for the Bears were Dylan Summers and Rigley Braun who finished with a 91 and 94 respectively. The Bears will play in a weekday match against Blue River and Blackford on Tuesday.
