Tri Jr./Sr. High school got on the board in the top of the first inning after M Ballard grounded out, R Mathews walked, A Richey grounded out, and Laurel walked, each scoring one run. Tri Jr./Sr. High school extended their early lead with four runs in the top of the third thanks to RBI errors by L Williams and Ballard. Richey earned the win for Tri Jr./Sr. High school. The hurler allowed six hits and six runs (two earned) over seven innings, striking out 10 and walking one. Laura Walker took the loss for Monroe Central Varsity Bears.
