Hits Aplenty In Monroe Central Middle School Victory Over Cowan By GameChanger Media Both Monroe Central Middle School and Cowan had their offenses going on Monday, but Monroe Central Middle School eventually prevailed 22-11. Cowan got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Audrey F singled to left field, Evelyn H walked, Faye G walked, and Audrey stole home, each scoring one run. Monroe Central Middle School flipped the game on its head in the top of the second, scoring 10 runs on three hits to take the lead, 10-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a walk by Lucy H that drove in three. Monroe Central Middle School added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Izzy M singled to center field, Haidyn K was struck by a pitch, Cowan committed an error, Lilly L walked, Haidyn stole home, and Monroe Central Middle School scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.
