Monroe Central Middle School With Tough Game Against Selma By GameChanger Media Monroe Central Middle School couldn't keep up with Selma and fell 10-0 on Tuesday. Selma got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Monroe Central Middle School committed an error, and Addison R singled to center field, each scoring two runs. A triple by Jordan N extended the Selma lead to 6-0 in the bottom of the second inning. Selma added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Addison tripled to center field, and Berlynn V doubled down the right field line, each scoring one run. Berlynn earned the win for Selma. The pitcher gave up one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out four and walking none. Haidyn K took the loss for Monroe Central Middle School. The hurler went four innings, giving up 10 runs (six earned) on eight hits, striking out five and walking four. Gracie M and Haidyn each collected one hit for Monroe Central Middle School. Selma collected eight hits in the game. Addison, the number eight hitter for Selma, led the way with four runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-3 on the day. Kyndle S and Tayler W each stole multiple bases for Selma. Selma turned one double play in the game. Selma were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error.
