Union County High School got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Monroe Central Varsity Bears committed an error, and Garrett doubled to center field, each scoring one run. A single by Carter, a double by Pilgrim, and a double by Schneider helped Union County High School extend their early lead in the second. Union County High School scored five runs on two hits in the bottom of the third inning. An error scored one run, Schneider singled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, and Long singled, scoring one run. K Burrough earned the win for Union County High School.
