7th Grade: Lady Bears Improve to 4-1 With Win Over Union City The Monroe Central 7th Grade Lady Bears defended their home court with a strong team performance, defeating county school Union City in straight sets (25-16, 25-11). Serving powered the Bears to victory, with Mabrey Cheesman leading the way with 5 aces, followed by Delainee Whitehead with 4 aces, Blakely Burge with 3, and Ellie Lanter with 2. At the net, Alexa Tinsman added a kill to keep the momentum rolling. There were many contributions across the roster, as every player played a role in the win.
