Monroe Central

The Varsity Golden Bear volleyball team was host to the MC Invitational tournament on 9/13/25 which included the following teams: Monroe Central Blackford High School Heritage Christian South Adams Lincoln Hagerstown The Varsity Golden bears had their first match against Blackford. This was a close match throughout but Blackford was able to come up with the win 1-2 with scores of 25-18, 16-25, 12-15. The second match of the day was played against a very tough Eagles team from Heritage Christian. Heritage Christian was able to get the win 0-2 with scores of 10-25 and 6-25. The final match of the day was against the Golden Eagles from Cambridge City Lincoln. The Golden Bears were able to refocus and win this match 2-0 with scores of 25-20 and 25-13. Overall a great day of volleyball at Monroe Central. The Golden Bears volleyball teams will be back in action on Tuesday (9/16) when they travel to take on the Warriors of Wes-Del. JV is scheduled to begin at 6pm.
