The Golden Bear JV & Varsity volleyball teams traveled to Wapahani this evening for a matchup with the Raiders. The Varsity match also had some adjustments to be made for the Golden Bears as two of their regular players were being honored at an awards ceremony so a new rotation had to be implemented that the girls hadn't had an opportunity to practice. The Raiders were able to take this match 0-3 with scores of 8-25, 6-25 and 16-25. Some positive stats on the floor tonight were from Senior Shyan Bennett with 1 ace, 4 kills, 9 receptions and 5 digs. Sophomore Bentley Pegg had 3 kills, 2 receptions, 7 assists, 6 digs and 1 block. Senior Sophia Bolton had 1 ace, 1 kill, 1 reception and 5 digs. The Varsity Golden Bears open up round 1 of the Randolph County Tournament tomorrow (9/25/25) when they travel to take on the Rebels of Randolph Southern. This match is scheduled to begin at 6pm.
