A combined 7th/8th grade team took on the singular junior high team from Union last night and emerged with the win! Performance highlights include Callie Grove: 1 assist, 1 kill, 12 aces / Anna Wines: 2 assists, 1 kill, 6 aces / Ellie Lanter: 3 kills, 3 aces / Kendall Johnson: 5 aces / Lainey Huddleston: 2 aces / Adelyn Pugsley: 1 assist, 1 kill. Coaches are very proud of how this team learned to work together so quickly and demonstrated solid gameplay and sportsmanship. 7th and 8th grade teams will play at HOME on Monday, October 6th against Jay County before the final county tournament on Saturday. And a special congratulations to the 8th grade team, who was recognized before the game. Players include: Landry Taylor, Izzy McGrath, Claire Cheesman, Bristol Goad, Gracie McCreery, Ashtyn Baldwin, Mati McConnell, Haidyn Knott, Alyssa Chalfant, Anna Wines, Callie Grove, and Blayklee Wilson.
