The Jr High football team lost a hard fought game to Wes Del last night with a final score of 26 to 20. The Bears got on the board first and took a 14 to 10 lead into the locker room at halftime. MC got the ball to start the second half but were unable to score. After 2 Wes Del touchdowns the Bears scored for the final time with just over 2 minutes left in the game. A failed onside kick gave Wes Del the ball in MC territory, and they were able to run out the clock. This game was a battle on both sides of the ball. The 4 and 2 Bears will return from Fall Break to play their final game of the season Tuesday, October 14th at Union County.
