Union City outscored Monroe Central 22-8 over the final 19 minutes Wednesday night to win the UC Holiday Invitational by a score of 34-32 over the Lady Bears. Monroe Central jumped out to an 8-2 lead to open the game, but UC came roaring back to cut the margin to 12-10 at the first stop.

Lady Bears take 6-game win streak into tonight’s tourney final

Monroe Central won a tough holiday tourney semi-final game against the same team that gave them fits a year ago at sectional.
