Kat, Kear among state leaders; named All-County

Junior Katarina DiBiasio and senior Zoee Kear continue to lead the Lady Bear volleyball team. MC is ranked in Class 2A, posting a 20-5 record, and are winners of 3 straight weekend tournaments, including claiming the Randolph County title and holding on to the county spike. Writtenhouse 3rd best rush yards for sophomore in state

Sophomore Tyler Writtenhouse is among the state’s best when it comes to running the ball and scoring. The sophomore back has 713 yards, averaging 118.8 per game. That puts him 71st best in the state and #3 among those in his own grade. He had 293 yards and 3 scores last Friday in a win

Lady Bears win county title; 4 named All-County

The Lady Bears claimed the Randolph County championship Saturday taking down the the Randolph Southern Rebels and the Union Rockets, both in two games. Zoee Kear, Morgan Haney, Katarina DiBiasio and Jordyn Barga were named All-County with Emmarae Roberts as honorable mention! JH suffers first loss of year, 14-6

The JH boys lost a tough one last night to the Northeastern Knights, 14-6. Jaime Hancock scored the Bears’ only touchdown. The 7th graders tied at a score of 0-0.
