JH Lady Bears sweep Richmond’s Dennis MS

The 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams both won tonight against Dennis Middle School from Richmond. The 7th grade won by scores of 25-24, 25-23. Bears go to 2-0 with 36-6 victory

While turnovers might have slowed down the Golden Bear attack Friday – it did not stop it. Monroe Central used a 22-0 second half to pulverize Union County, 36-6, and improve to 2-0. Sophomore QB Wyatt Snyder scored two first half touchdowns, one was set up by a 49 yard run from sophomore Tyler Writtenhouse.

Jr High Defeats Southern Wells

On Tuesday the Golden Bears defeated the Southern Wells Raiders 20-0. The defensive shutout was lead by Logan Swallow and Colton Bradley, while an offensive tandem of Jaime Hancock, Braden Case, and Isaac Moles pushed the Bears to victory.
