Alumni BBQ set for 9-11 football game

MCHS Alumni will host a barbecue before the football game against Union City on Friday, September 11th.  A sandwich with chips and a drink will cost $5. Wick’s donated pies and so we have that also! There will be an opportunity to “Feed a Bear” – the other team is buying meals for all their team

Norris wins girls’ race, boys place 2nd

The girls and boys cross country teams participated a four way meet tonight at Cowan. Monroe Central played very tough competition in the Plymouth Powerball tournament last weekend. Bears go to 2-0 with 36-6 victory

While turnovers might have slowed down the Golden Bear attack Friday – it did not stop it. Monroe Central used a 22-0 second half to pulverize Union County, 36-6, and improve to 2-0.
