The Jr High Cross Country teams ran in the Randolph Southern Invitational on Saturday against athletes from 19 other schools on the 1.8 mile course. The Girls team earned the championship against 14 teams in a field of 127 runners. Kathleen Osborne lead the Lady Bears coming in 6th place with a time of 12:24. Avery Thomas achieved her career PR and came in 13th overall. Addison Coe was close on her heels at 14th place. Addy Puckett also ran her career PR to come in 16th. Gracie Baker rounded out the top 5 finishing in 18th place. The Lady Bears scoring runners were all in the top 20, earning an impressive score of 47. Ariana Poe, Morgan Ferguson, and Taylor Oren had great races as well. Alivia Arvin has been working hard and earned her season best on Saturday.

Three Girls and three Boys competed in the exhibition race with all 6 runners improving their times from previous meets. Jacee Lounsbury, Kaylee Swift, and Nadine Crawford represented the Lady Bears well. Jackson Wines, Noah Moery, and Nick Hendrickson ran impressive races as well.
