The Varsity Volleyball team improved their MEC record last night beating Eastern Hancock with scores of 25-18, 25-20 and 25-16. Miranda Haney lead the Bears in kills with 10, while Jordyn Barga had 6, and Hannah McCollum 5. Lauren Yates lead in digs with 8, while Jordyn Barga dug up 6, and Mikayla Fields and Hannah McCollum had 5 digs a piece. Hannah McCollum lead in aces with 4, Jordyn Barga had 3, and Mikayla Fields had 2. Mikayla Fields lead in assists for the night with 24. The Varsity Lady Bears are now 18-5 for the season and 6-1 in the MEC.

Come out to Union High school on Saturday as the Varsity Volleyball teams takes on the challenge of defending their county title for the 4th year in a row at the Randolph County Varsity Volleyball Tourney!

The JV Lady Bears Volleyball team also took a win from Eastern Hancock last night with scores of 19-25, 25-19, and 15-10. Ryleigh Doughtery lead in kills with 11, while Ruthie Moulton, Lexi Conaster, and Samantha Farmer all had 4 kills a piece. Leah Osborne lead in digs with 7 and Macy Shinn had 5. Ruthie Moulton lead in aces with 4 and Leah Osborne had 3. Ruthie Moulton also lead in assists with 18 for the night. The JV Lady Bears are now 15-7 for the season.
