Buis’ walk-off extends MC win streak to 5

For the 2nd time during the Lady Bear softball win streak, Monroe Central rallied in the bottom of the 7th inning. Sophomore Mabrey Buis hit a 3-run home run Thursday night to lift MC past Daleville, 5-4. The Lady Bears  scored first as Jordyn Barga singled and later scored on an RBI hit from Buis.

Monroe Central outhit Centerville Thursday evening but came up short on the scoreboard falling by a 5-1 score. Centerville scored twice in the first inning and added two more in the fourth inning after MC had cut the lead to 2-1. The Lady Bulldogs added a run in the sixth to seal the win.
