Tuesday saw Monroe Central’s golf team sweep a 4-way meet hosted by Wes-Del. Five personal best scores at Crestview Golf Course last Saturday in the MEC golf meet gave Monroe Central an opportunity to win the title. “I could not be more proud of this golf team!,” stressed coach Shane Haney. “We came up just short today, but we had five personal best scores and 3 named All-MEC.”

Led by Brandon Poole’s 42, Monroe Central defeated Union City at Hickory Hills Thursday afternoon, 185-246.
