Lady Bears reach Regional title game before falling to Oak Hill

Going deeper into the tournament than ever before, the 3rd ranked Monroe Central Lady Bear basketball team reached the Eastern HS Regional championship Saturday. Pep rally Friday at 2:30; shirt pick up also Friday

There will be a pep rally Friday afternoon starting at 2:30 centered around the Lady Bears and recognizing a few others. Those who ordered sectional champion t-shirts – those will be available Friday during the day in the front office or athletic office.  

7th grade Ladies end year at 16-5 with win over Eastern Hancock

The 7th grade Lady Bears wrapped up their season Tuesday night at Eastern Hancock with a 39-35 victory. Catherine Duncan led the way with 11 points as the Lady Bears ended the season with a 16-5 record. The 8th grade fell to Eastern Hancock, 44-8, and finished the year at 4-13.

Tickets for this Saturday’s Eastern girls basketball regional will be on sale Tuesday thru Friday at noon in the main office at Monroe Central. We have 200 season tickets.
