Monroe Central’s junior high baseball team has started the ECI League 3-0 outscoring foes 45-3. 3 Bears named All-County

Monroe Central’s varsity baseball team had three players named to the All-Randolph County team and one to honorable mention. Monroe Central fell to Winchester in the final, 9-4. Those named to the All-County team include senior Logan Conklin, sophomore Seth Wilson, and junior Wyatt Snyder. Named honorable mention was senior Brady Jones.

JV Bears drop a pair of weekend games

The Monroe Central junior varsity baseball team played a pair of games last weekend. On Friday, the JV Bears lost a hard fought battle to Wes-Del, 7-2. Saturday the JV boys played Yorktown at home and lost 10-0. Due to the make up games the JV season ended Saturday.
