JH Bears sweep Yorktown by a combined 54 points

Monroe Central’s JH Bears swept a pair of boys basketball games at Yorktown Thursday night. The 7th grade won 48-26 over the Tigers. JH Bears fare well in Tri scrimmage

Monroe Central’s 7th and 8th grade boys opened the year with a scrimmage at Tri this evening. The 7th grade Bears defeated Hagerstown and New Castle. The 8th grade Bears blanked Tri, 20-0, and lost to New Castle, 15-9. MC and New Castle will meet again on December 30 at the New Castle Fieldhouse. The
