Wrestlers 5-3 at Wayne Co Classic; Swallow goes 8-0

Monroe Central’s wrestling team went 5-3 at the Wayne County Classic at Richmond this past weekend. Friday night the Bears defeated Richmond 48-24 and Union County 51-18, but lost to New Castle, 60-24. Monroe Central recently competed in the ECIC wrestling Invitational at Jay County. During the day, juniors Tyler Jones and Kamron Caldwell each placed 3rd.
