Lady Bears place 3rd at Sectional, advance to Delta Regional

Monroe Central’s girls’ cross country team placed 3rd last weekend in the Delta Sectional at the Sports Plex advancing to the Regional. Delta won the title with 55 points, edging runner-up Randolph Southern with 60 points and Monroe Central in 3rd with 88 points. The two other teams advancing were Muncie Burris in 4th place
